Prop firms that actually paid in 2025: the receipts
All fifteen tracked firms sorted by the quality of their payout evidence: on-chain verified, published funnel, self-reported, or nothing at all.

Every prop firm says it pays. The question is what kind of evidence sits behind the sentence. This guide sorts the fifteen firms we track by the quality of their payout receipts for 2025 and into 2026: independently verifiable on-chain data at the top, self-reported totals in the middle, silence at the bottom, and one firm whose website has gone dark.
Affiliate note: The5ers pays us a commission on sign-ups, and it appears in the top evidence tier below. We have not put its CTA on this page. A "who actually paid" ranking with a sponsor card under it would read as a ranking for sale, so the only offer here is a charting tool. Nothing else on this page pays us.
How to read payout claims
There are four kinds of evidence, and they are not equal:
- On-chain verified. Firms that pay through Rise (Riseworks) settle on a public blockchain. Trackers such as Payout Junction index those transactions: $1.5 billion across roughly 805,000 payouts industry-wide at our review. The figures are a floor, not a total, because bank and card payouts are invisible to them. But they cannot be inflated by the firm.
- Firm-supplied to a third party. Prop Firm Match's tracker recorded $324.96 million in 2025 payouts across the firms that report to it. The data comes from the firms, so it is only as honest as they are, but it is itemised and dated.
- Self-reported totals. The "$1.4 billion paid" banners. Usually true in spirit, never audited, and with no denominator. A firm that sold 500,000 evaluations and paid $100 million might have paid 3% of its customers or 30%.
- Published funnels. The rarest and the most useful: the firm tells you what share of evaluations passed and what share of funded traders were paid. Exactly one firm we track did this for 2025.
Tier 1: independently verifiable
MyFundedFutures
Scored 79/100. $234,743,945 across 147,063 blockchain-verified payouts all-time, $14,690,287 in the 30 days to 21 September 2026, most recent payout the same day. That is the largest verified ledger of any firm we track, and it belongs to a futures firm founded in 2023. If you want the shortest answer to "who actually paid", this is it.
FundedNext
Scored 78/100. $234,496,618 across 109,509 verified payouts all-time, $12,004,349 in the last 30 days. FundedNext also reported $107,794,710 in 2025 payouts to Prop Firm Match, the largest 2025 figure on that tracker, and put out a press figure of $271.4 million cumulative in February 2026. Three sources, two of them not controlled by the firm, all pointing the same way.
The5ers
Scored 81/100. $93,453,787 across 43,650 verified payouts all-time, $3,491,799 in the last 30 days, most recent payout 20 September 2026. The5ers has never published its own total, which makes the on-chain figure the only number there is, and it is a real one. Reminder: this firm pays us on referrals. Its evidence tier is not affected by that, and neither is its score.
Propr
Scored 70/100. A different kind of on-chain evidence. Propr pays in USDC on Hyperliquid and Ethereum, and any single payout can be traced: an independent reviewer in September 2026 matched a 414.84 USDC payout to the firm's dashboard to six decimal places. There is no indexed total yet; the founder's public claim is $1 million+ paid four months into beta. Per-payout verifiable, total self-reported, and see the crypto comparison for why the simulated-account model matters.
Tier 2: a published funnel
Topstep
Scored 84/100. Topstep's cumulative figure is self-reported ($1.4 billion+ on its homepage in September 2026), but on 15 January 2026 it published something no other firm we track has: its 2025 funnel. 16.8% of Trading Combines initiated were completed. 51.8% of individuals who entered at least one Combine reached the Funded level. 33.3% of individuals at the Funded level received a payout. 0.71% of Express Funded traders were called up to a Live account.
Put those together and roughly one in six individuals who started a Combine in 2025 was paid something. That number is not in Topstep's ads. It is on its blog, and it is why Topstep is in a tier of its own: a firm willing to publish an unflattering denominator is a firm you can hold to it.
Tier 3: self-reported totals
Apex Trader Funding
Scored 88/100. Apex's own payouts page read $598 million+ when we reviewed the firm in May 2026. By August 2026 third-party leaderboards quoting the page showed $835 million+, and other trackers cite $718 million. Apex also publicised a single payout of over $2.5 million in April 2025, reported widely as the largest in the industry's history. Everything here is Apex's own number. Apex pays through conventional rails, so there is no on-chain floor to check it against, and it publishes no funnel. Our score is high because the complaint velocity is low and the firm has never paused payouts, not because we can audit the total.
FTMO
Scored 86/100. FTMO's CEO stated more than $450 million paid to traders on the firm's tenth anniversary, 29 September 2025. The company also disclosed 2023 turnover of nearly $213 million and EBITDA close to $100 million, over 300 employees, and 2.3 million accounts registered in 2024. Its site now claims $650 million+. FTMO does not report to Prop Firm Match and does not pay through Rise, so nothing is independently indexed. It is the most financially transparent firm in forex and still, on payouts specifically, a self-reported number.
Goat Funded Trader
Scored 72/100. $23 million+ per PropFirmsFinder's August 2026 leaderboard, which takes its figures from each firm's own site and says so. No on-chain index, no funnel. Consistent with a firm founded in 2023 that is paying, and no more than that.
HyroTrader
Scored 65/100, Yellow Flag. $7 million paid and 1,700+ funded traders on its own site at our review, up from the $3.5 million older reviews quote. Self-reported.
SizeProp
Scored 68/100, Yellow Flag. "100+ payouts, zero denials, $50 million+ in funded capital" as of May 2026, all from the firm. It launched in October 2025, so its 2025 receipts are a few months of activity. The firm's terms are among the best in crypto; the evidence is a first-year firm's evidence.
Tier 4: nothing we could find
For four of the firms we score Healthy or Yellow we could not find a published payout total, a third-party ledger, or a funnel as of 21 September 2026:
- Take Profit Trader (74/100). Roughly 8,700 Trustpilot reviews averaging about 4.4 and four years of operation with no payout pause on record. That is a real signal. It is not a receipt.
- Earn2Trade (71/100). Operating since 2017, no total published that we could locate.
- FunderPro (76/100). Heavy affiliate-driven growth, no payout total published that we could locate.
- Maven Trading (68/100, Yellow Flag). Smaller firm, no total published that we could locate.
Absence of a number is not evidence of non-payment. It is evidence that the firm has chosen not to give you a number, and for a firm you are about to send money to, that is worth weighing.
The negative receipt
The Funded Trader
Scored 32/100, Red Flag. On 4 September 2026 both of the firm's domains returned HTTP 402 with a disabled-deployment error, which is what a hosting provider serves when a site has been switched off for non-payment. The firm had a multi-month payout pause in 2024 and had previously described its restructuring as complete. We no longer link it. If you hold a funded balance there, the payout-safety guide has the three options, in order.

What this table does not tell you
It does not tell you your odds. Topstep's is the only funnel, and it says one in three funded traders was paid in 2025. It does not tell you the size of a typical payout; the on-chain averages (about $1,600 at MFFU, about $2,100 at FundedNext and The5ers) are skewed by a few very large ones. And it does not tell you which firm will still be paying next year. It tells you which firms have let someone other than themselves count.
Use it the way we do: prefer the verified tier when the terms are comparable, treat self-reported totals as a floor of plausibility rather than a fact, and read silence as a question you should ask the firm directly before you pay for anything.
